Sue has given me this award - I am thrilled as it is my very first award. Now comes the real challenge for someone like me who is new to this game and has not been doing my homework to learn all about the techniques. This is what I have been working on today, when I haven't been working out what to do here, or what to do when I have made stupid mistakes. I sewed the lining on before I sewed on a piece of velcro to fasten it and then of course I had to make a different type of closure. then I couldn't find the button which I wanted.............and on it went. By the time I had finished I was happy, but it wasn't the quick and simple activity I had been planning. The idea is slightly adapted from a Fibre and Stitch free project.
Now I have to go and clean up my studio so I can actually find some space to do some more, I don't think there is one square inch of bed, tables and shelf which can be seen at present, it is all covered by stuff!!!

I am another computer illiterate and can just about manage to add a new post to my blog and hopefully leave this comment on yours!! Your garden looks lovely and the wallet/wrap is just beautiful. I was just saying today that I must have a tidy round so I can see some work space!! I no sooner tidy it than its the same again!! Mr S says my work is like moss! It grows over every surface and into every corner. I just remind him that I add colour to our home and how dull life would be without it! Tee Heexx

ReplyDeleteI love your folio. I made one of those and did the same thing - forgot to put the velcro. I decided later (after I didn't like my closure) to use iron on velcro - and it worked great. Just for future reference . . .
