Nothing like the feel & smell of a good book tho.
Glad you are getting there slowly but surely with the new knee & what a fab pic of the honeyeater. I always let my birds have the cover of a wild border - yours is beautiful, then how satisfying is it to cut back & clean up ready for it all to come again. Hopefully you'll be more supple by the time the works has to be done ;)Emmahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18114514969969050590noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-414982699661382651.post-37525074662936949972013-08-06T07:10:17.207+10:002013-08-06T07:10:17.207+10:00Lovely honeyeater and how nice that you are letti...Lovely honeyeater and how nice that you are letting the birds enjoy your garden. I can see the advantage of a kindle for travel but I find that I can't read from the screen for any length of time and I so love the feel of a real book.

Keep up the good work and your recovery will soon be complete.
Maggihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04479533794674357334noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-414982699661382651.post-57430432314967261262013-08-05T17:42:13.734+10:002013-08-05T17:42:13.734+10:00I have just been to the physio, she rather attacke...I have just been to the physio, she rather attacked my knee and now I have to roll a rolling pin over it! I presume to break up adhesions. Not terribly comfortable. I like my kindle as a light weight portable device, but do still like a book. What one did you get? Mine is fairly basic as fire was much too heavy.Pennyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14177627504060328999noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-414982699661382651.post-62533204564380268592013-08-04T18:33:59.007+10:002013-08-04T18:33:59.007+10:00Nice upbeat post Robin - how I would love to have ...Nice upbeat post Robin - how I would love to have those bee-eaters in my garden. The Weaver of Grasshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13947971556343746883noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-414982699661382651.post-65291368957975005872013-08-04T18:22:29.685+10:002013-08-04T18:22:29.685+10:00I know it's frustrating but I think slow and s...I know it's frustrating but I think slow and steady progress is best and more likely to be sustained. Keep up the good work.
I haven't got a Kindle and can see that they have advantages, but you can't beat a real book.
Love that little streamlined honeyeater and your 'unkempt' garden bed looks beautiful to me - great pics as usual.
Make haste slowly!Heatherhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06826501916623305535noreply@blogger.com
